1.1 MeVo is a technology platform that facilitates connections between Customers and Vendors. Vendors are independent third parties who provide Vendor Services directly to Customers.
1.2 MeVo does not provide Vendor Services unless explicitly stated (for example, “Events by MeVo”), and is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any Vendor Services.
1.3 MeVo does not employ Vendors, nor are Vendors agents, contractors, or partners of MeVo. Vendors cannot bind or represent MeVo in any way.
2.1 To use the Platform, you may be required to create an account by providing accurate and complete details. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
2.2 You are solely responsible for all activity conducted under your account and must maintain confidentiality of your login credentials.
2.3 You agree to promptly update your account details if they change.
3.1 Customers may place booking requests with Vendors through the Platform. Booking confirmation is subject to Vendor acceptance.
3.2 Customers are required to pay an advance through the Platform as determined by MeVo at the time of booking. MeVo collects and holds this advance before releasing or adjusting it in accordance with the applicable cancellation, refund, or commission policies. The balance payment (if any) is settled directly between the Customer and the Vendor.
3.3 Prices displayed on the Platform may be indicative. Final charges are determined by Vendors based on scope of work, customisations, and additional requirements.
3.4 Final payment (the remaining balance) must be paid directly to the vendor before the event begins, unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing between the vendor and customer. Any balance payment beyond the advance is to be paid by the Customer directly to the Vendor as per the Vendor’s terms. MeVo is not responsible if a Customer fails to pay the balance to the Vendor. MeVo will, however, assist with communication where feasible.
4.1 Customer cancellation: Vendor-specific cancellation and refund policies may apply. Full refund of the advance may be available if cancellation is made within 12 hours of booking. If cancellation is made after 12 hours and within 24 hours, a 50% refund of the advance may be issued. No refunds shall be facilitated after 24 Hours from receiving the advance.
4.2 Vendor cancellation: If a Vendor cancels a confirmed booking, the Vendor is obligated to refund the full advance to MeVo immediately. MeVo will, upon receipt of the refunded funds, process the refund to the Customer. Refunds in such cases are ordinarily processed within 60 (sixty) days; however, this timeline is contingent on the Vendor returning the funds to MeVo. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or Vendor delays, the refund timeline may vary. MeVo may assist in coordinating refunds but shall not be held liable for any delay or default by the Vendor
4.3 Refund timelines may vary and are subject to Vendor and payment processor policies.
5.1 Customers and Vendors agree not to bypass the Platform by entering into direct contracts outside the Platform once introduced through MeVo.
5.2 Breach of this clause may result in suspension or termination of accounts, blacklisting, and legal action.
6.1 Vendors must ensure accuracy of their profile, portfolio, pricing, and availability.
6.2 Vendors are solely responsible for licences, registrations, permits, and compliance with applicable laws. MeVo does not guarantee such compliance and Customers are advised to independently verify Vendor credentials.
7.1 Customers must provide accurate event details and comply with Vendor terms for payment, cancellation, and service execution.
7.2 Customers must not misuse Vendor contact details or harass Vendors in any way.
8.1 Customers may provide reviews or feedback on Vendors. By submitting content, you grant MeVo a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and reproduce such content for operational and promotional purposes.
8.2 MeVo may remove or restrict access to content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
9.1 Disputes between Customers and Vendors are to be resolved directly between the parties.
9.2 MeVo may, at its discretion, facilitate communication or mediation but is not obligated to resolve disputes or assume liability.
10.1 MeVo provides the Platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.
10.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeVo disclaims all liability for:
Vendor defaults, delays, or service quality;
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, reputation, or goodwill;
Events beyond its reasonable control (force majeure).
10.3 MeVo’s aggregate liability, if any, shall not exceed the total service fee paid to MeVo (if any) for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MeVo, its officers, employees, and affiliates against any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
your use of the Platform or Vendor Services,
breach of these Terms,
misconduct, negligence, or violation of law by you or a Vendor you engage.
All payments may be subject to applicable taxes. Vendors are responsible for charging and remitting taxes on Vendor Services.
For every booking where an advance is collected through MeVo, two invoices will be generated – one by MeVo (for its service fee) and one by the Vendor (for their portion of the advance). MeVo will not issue a full advance invoice on behalf of the vendor, as that would incorrectly increase GST liability. Customers will therefore receive both invoices separately, reflecting the correct allocation of amounts.
MeVo may, at its discretion, suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Platform in case of violations, complaints, misuse, or legal requirements.
MeVo collects and processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. MeVo may share relevant details with Vendors for the purpose of fulfilling bookings.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.
